Thrift finds

Yesterday's weather was rare for Colorado: It was warm, almost 80 degrees. So, I went out and visited the local Arc Thrift Store to look for a nice jean jacket. Found one at a great price for $5.99!

If you've got a thrift store nearby, I highly suggest you check it out for some cheap clothes. In general, most thrift stores have a nice selection of quality jackets, sweaters, jeans and accessories, like purses. However, their dress selections are pretty sparse.

First Post

I've created this blog to discuss how students can be fashionable on a true budget. There are other "budget" fashion blogs, but the ones I've read would still break most grad/undergrad banks--at least those whose mommies and daddies don't pay for everything.

I personally feel that when you're on a student budget, you should never spend more than $10 on a single item of clothing. In fact, I'd really have to like the item if I were to even spend that much.
